The team at BHWC PC/VR will be hosting a fundraiser soon! We have been conducting our mobile outreaches. Our last mobile outreach took us to our State Capitol in Harrisburgh Pa. Less than a quarter of a mile from the main offices at Penn Dot. This is our capitol and it was very distressing to say the least. There were a few organizations already there and that was refreshing. One organization (I’m kicking myself for not getting their organization name) provided a trailer that accomodated for hot showers and a lavy. It was a very cold day, and the unhoused were extremely happy to have use of the trailer. I would say there were at least 50 tents in the encampment. Too many in our State Capitol. As usual it was hard to hold back the tears. Please stay updated on our website for all event and outreach dates.
